🐾 IRO MRT AREA Test 🐾
🗓️15.-19.4.2026

3 members of our club took part in the demanding IRO MRT AREA test, where the skills, readiness, and teamwork between handler and dog are evaluated in searching for missing persons across large and challenging terrains. 🌲🧭 It is a test that requires experience, precision, and strong physical and mental fitness from both the dog and the handler. 💪🐕‍🦺

The participants were:
⛑️Miha Kavčič with Labbyland Bono -Nala🐾
⛑️Dušan Weber with Ares🐾
⛑️Nataša Bregar with Labbyland Cubo🐾

Unfortunately, Dušan Weber had to withdraw due to his dog’s illness. We wish Ares a speedy recovery! 💙🐶

Miha handled the task well, but this time he was just a bit short on experience and luck. Challenges like this are part of the journey, and we are confident he will succeed next time! 💪🍀

Special congratulations go to Nataša Bregar and her dog Labbyland Cubo, who successfully passed the test once again! 🏆🐾 Excellent work and a true reflection of a well-trained and coordinated team! 👏

We would also like to extend sincere praise and gratitude to all club members and all others who were involved for several days in organizing and supporting the execution of such a large event. Without such a dedicated and well-coordinated team, the event would not have been possible. 🙏 Despite the demanding and exhausting work, the atmosphere remained excellent throughout, which further reflects the strength of our team. 💙

We are proud of all our members for their dedication, perseverance, and passion for search and rescue work. On to new challenges! 🚀

The Mission Readiness Test – the toughest international challenge for rescue teams searching for missing persons is now behind us. 💪 Members of DVRPS once again showed heart, courage, and determination in this demanding test.

Špela Bergant and Nataša Bregar gave their very best and showed what true teamwork looks like. Even though success slipped away this time, their determination remains unshaken and they are already preparing to come back stronger next year. 💥

🙏 A huge thank you to Silvana Šneberger, Petra Adamič, and Neven Putar for braving the cold rubble as helpers, and to the entire DVRPS team for your support, encouragement, and unity. Together, we are more than a team – we are a family. ❤️

At the end of the day, it’s not just about passing a test, it’s about giving everything you’ve got, standing by each other, and never losing the drive to serve and save lives. And in that spirit, we are already winners. 🌍✨

🦮 Poleg drugih skupin za reševanje je sodelovala tudi vodnica DVRPS. Oseba je bila najdena okrog 13.ure.

Svojcem izrekamo iskreno sožalje.

Včerajšnji dogodek je zagotovo eden v vrsti tistih

Včerajšnji dogodek je zagotovo eden v vrsti tistih, ki se jih splača zapisati v zgodovino. Ali še bolje, ki se jih je vredno spominjati. Saj brez spominov zgodovina ne obstaja.

Zbrali smo se v Mestni hiši v Ljubljani na slovesnosti ob 30. obletnici Društva vodnikov reševalnih psov Slovenije. Preživeli smo prijeten večer, v katerem smo skupaj podoživeli, se spomnili in obudili vse tisto, na čemer je zasnovano, leta 1994 ustanovljeno in še danes delujoče Društvo vodnikov reševalnih psov Slovenije.

Ob tej priložnosti se želimo iskreno zahvaliti vsem sedanjim in nekdanjim članom društva, našim prijateljem iz drugih društev, s katerimi nas povezuje trdna in neločljiva vez, ki smo jo stkali na skupnih akcijah in dogodkih. Vaša predanost, pogum, nesebičnost in sodelovanje so tisti temelji, na katerih stoji naše društvo.

Ponosni smo na vse, kar smo skupaj dosegli, in hvaležni za vsak trenutek, ki smo ga preživeli v skupnosti, ki jo združuje ljubezen do reševanja življenj in zvestoba našim štirinožnim partnerjem. Vsi smo pomemben del te zgodbe, ki se nadaljuje in raste, tako kot se bo še dolgo spominjal vsak posameznik, ki je pustil svoj pečat v zgodovini Društva vodnikov reševalnih psov Slovenije.

Hvala še enkrat vsem za vse vaše prispevke in za to, da skupaj oblikujemo prihodnost našega društva. Naj bodo še mnogi skupni trenutki pred nami, naj bo naš skupni cilj vedno jasen in naj nas vodijo iste vrednote, ki so nas pripeljale do tukaj.

Sodil je mednarodni FCI sodnik Meglič Ljubo.

Izpita se je udeležilo tudi nekaj naših članov. Uspešno so ga opravili:

8 članov DVRPS⛑️🐕‍ se je udeležilo 3-dnevnega tabo

8 članov DVRPS⛑️🐕‍ se je udeležilo 3-dnevnega tabora, ki ga je organizirala Zveza vodnikov reševalnih psov Slovenije.
Tabor je potekal v 5 skupinah, ki so jih vodili izkušeni inštruktorji.
Vodniki so se s svojimi reševalnimi psi urili v iskanju v sektorju, iskanju ob poti, obdelali so delo markerja, nagrajevanje psa in oblajanje.

Tabor je bil odlično izpeljan. Hvala @zrps.slo za organizacijo in hvala vsem inštruktorjem in udeležencem za delo in vzdušje na taboru.
